1). We look forward to this week every year. On Wednesday we leave for a team retreat to an area about two hours outside of L'viv. On Friday the rest of the MTW missionaries from around Ukraine will join us for a country retreat. Counting staff workers, some other visitors from Europe and the States we will have over 70 people in all. It is a great weekend of fellowship, discussion, vision planning, encouragement and ENGLISH WORSHIP (the only time we get to worship in English all year). Pray that we would have a great team and country retreat.
2). The retreat will provide great opportunities to further our relationships with Oksana and Lia. These 2 girls are very special to our family, and we have lifted them up in prayer often. We know Lia is not a believer and we are not sure about Oksana (she's the one who recently got engaged to an unbeliever). Both of these girls will be with our team all week at the retreat to help with childcare. Pray that our time with them will create some great conversations and encourage them towards the truth of the Gospel. Pray for the Holy Spirit to make them alive in Christ alone.
3). We have found another property that looks very promising as a site for a future church building. We are in the review and due diligence stage to see if we can make it work. Pray for our team and church to have wisdom as we think through everything involved with the L'viv church building project. We are very excited about the new doors that have opened but we need wisdom, guidance and provision from our Heavenly Father.
